Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a System Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA to analyze customer specifications, decompose them into system requirements, and ensure hardware/software designs meet the contract.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in requirements management, experience with DOORS/Jazz/MS Excel, and strong verbal/written communication; you will collaborate with 1-5 engineers under a senior Project Engineer on diverse onboard systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a requirements management position.
• Experience (desired) or familiarity (minimum) with requirements design tools such as DOORS, Jazz, MS Excel, others
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Practical experience working in collaborative teams with 1-5 engineers under direction of a senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyzing customer specifications and developing design requirements.
