Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer for an on-site role in Oro Valley, AZ. You will perform design-to-test activities on electro-mechanical devices, develop test methods, DoE, and analyze data, while documenting results in detailed technical reports.

REQUIREMENTS: 4+ years of engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Chemical/Biomedical/Software preferred), and strong risk management and technical writing skills.

Job description

Title: Systems Engineer - On-Market Support

Description: This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on Systems Engineer who has experience with electro-mechanical devices. The pay range is $42-$50/hr (depending on experience) with a maximum client bill rate of $76. Contract may be renewed into 2027 based on candidate performance and business need.

• Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
• General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
• Makes independent decisions.
• Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test Method Development, DoE, data analysis (python coding capability)

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Risk and requirements management experience
• Solid technical writing skills (e.g., protocols, reports, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with complex electro-mechanical systems

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software preferred)
• Years of Experience: 4 yrs+
• Experience in a FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; Medical device industry is ideal
