Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Control Systems Engineer for modeling, simulation, and control logic design at the West Palm Beach, FL campus. You will develop dynamic models, code control logic in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++, and support SL/WI test environments.

Responsibilities include plan development, hardware/software test integration, and cross-functional collaboration with propulsion and systems teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent with 4+ years of experience; or graduate degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years without a degree.
• 2+ years of experience in control systems design, analysis, and test.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Dynamic modeling and simulation, with control algorithm design for air-breathing propulsion systems.
• Modeling actuation systems and turbo pumps; steady-state and transient analyses.
• Develop MATLAB/Simulink models and C/C++ software; contribute to SBIR/MBSE workflows.
• Develop test plans and procedures; support hardware/software integration.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
