Job summary

CACI International Inc in Denver is seeking a Mid-level Systems Engineer to join the FADE team. You will collaborate with agile development, product owners, infrastructure, site reliability engineering, and security to manage changes as new capabilities are added.

The role requires understanding interfaces, coordinating with government customers and teams, and supporting API integration, documentation, and testing to enable critical U.S. Government missions.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field with 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong communication to coordinate FADE activities.
• Proficient technical writing: operation concepts, release notes, guides, test procedures.
• Experience debugging and testing REST APIs.
• Experience building dashboards to monitor API usage (Grafana/ELK).
• Knowledge of RESTful API services, OGC WFS/WMS, and real-time streaming technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own and update the program’s technical documents with the engineering team.
• Define and execute dynamic document generation from system interfaces.
• Become an expert on externally exposed APIs and standards.
• Coordinate API data sharing requests and lead TEMs with external customers.
• Provide API integration support and user troubleshooting.
• Present technical briefings to the FADE PMO for integration approvals.
• Support API endpoint testing and customer integration use cases.
• Coordinate activities among FADE customers, engineers, developers, and mission ops teams.
• Analyze system requirements and assist design/development when needed.
