Job summary

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to apply systems engineering principles across the full lifecycle: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. You will interact with sponsors and executives, ensuring technical integrity and deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 areas.

Requirements include TS/SCI with Poly, IAT Level 3, Docker/containerization familiarity, and a degree in engineering with 10 years of exp. Various degree substitutions are allowed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance required.
• IAT Level 3 Certification required.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field plus 10 years of systems engineering experience.
• Alternative: 14 years of general systems engineering exp. with a HS Diploma/GED.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 8 years of experience.
• PhD may substitute for 8 years of experience.
• Examples of qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities across ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
• Prepare work products for ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
• Analyze technical alternatives and provide preliminary recommendations.
• Develop and deliver work products in ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas.
• Supervise or coordinate the work of other engineers or technicians on a project.
• Evaluate suitability of approaches for project implementation.
• Propose innovative approaches to technical or engineering issues.
