Job description

As a Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer with expertise in the Office Application Platform, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing various Office 365 applications and services. Your responsibilities will span across collaboration, productivity, and search solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences and efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

Office Administration:

• Configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and permissions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint, OneDrive, and other Office 365 applications.
• Implement security features to protect Office 365 data.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and effective content management.

Compliance and Governance:

• Implement and manage compliance features, including data loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and retention policies.
• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

Viva, Microsoft Enterprise Search, and other Office 365 Applications:

• Enhance employee engagement and knowledge sharing through Viva.
• Set up and manage Planner for task tracking and collaboration.
• Optimize Microsoft To-Do for personal and team productivity.
• Utilize Microsoft Whiteboard for visual collaboration and brainstorming.
• Enhance search experiences using Microsoft Search and Delve.

User Support and Training:

• Provide end-user support for Office Application Platform and related queries.
• Conduct training sessions to educate users on system usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in managing Office 365 applications (SharePoint, Forms, Planner, etc.).
• Knowledge of Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of search capabilities and information architecture.
• Certifications related to Office 365 (such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are advantageous.
• Stay informed about Office 365 updates and new features to enhance the platform’s capabilities.
