Job summary

Draper, a nonprofit research and development organization in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Systems Engineer to lead full lifecycle development of complex sensor systems and components. You will apply MBSE and digital engineering, translate requirements into test plans, and drive production transition.

A clearance may be required for selected roles, with competitive salary and comprehensive work-life programs. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in Systems Engineering and a strong background in MEMS,

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
Requires 3-5 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Strong systems engineering principles applied to product development, integration and test processes.

Responsibilities

Define an I&T approach for a component/subsystem/system and independently execute the plan.
Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
Adapt to changes in program requirements.
Identify needs and concerns and communicate them to project leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
