Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer - IT with a DevOps background to support a High Performance Computing multi-level secure enterprise program in Herndon, VA. You will deploy and support secure infrastructure across multiple sites, and build DevOps automation in Unix/Linux environments.

The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph to start, and experience with Linux, scripting, and configuration management.

Qualifications

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Systems Engineer - IT with a DevOps background to support a High Performance Computing Multi-Level Secure enterprise program. This role focuses on initial deployment and ongoing site support for secure, large-scale infrastructure environments. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required to start.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the deployment and integration of secure enterprise infrastructure across multiple sites, developing and maintaining DevOps automation processes and configuration management solutions in Unix/Linux environments, scripting workflows, managing revision control systems, and coordinating initial site standup activities for complex HPC and multi-level secure deployments.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Linux system administration and engineering in secure environments
• Scripting and software development using Python, Perl, Korn shell, Bourne/Bash, and Ansible
• Revision control systems including CVS, SVN, Git, and GitLab (including GitLab CI)
• Development and management of DevOps deployment automation processes
• Configuration management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience supporting HPC or multi-level secure enterprise environments
• Familiarity with SELinux hardening and security configurations

Qualifications:

• Security+ Certification
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required to start
