Job summary

CNH Industrial Group is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in requirements, testing, and system integration across engineering disciplines. You will have the chance to lead a small project and apply systems thinking to CNH equipment development.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in Electrical, Systems, Agriculture, or Software Engineering, with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Agriculture Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn in a team setting.
• Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on projects or internships in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating requirements for software development.
• Test and validate software on equipment.
• Lead an entry-level project to implement a new feature on CNH equipment.
• Define system-level features and decompose into subsystems and requirements.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines for system definition, design and integration.
• Work with software teams on implementation and integration of software into vehicles.
• Support root cause analysis on issues involving controller software and hardware.
