Responsibilities:

• Provision, configure, and support server, network, and desktop equipment.
• Automate server lifecycle management (onboarding, patching, sunsetting).
• Provide technical support to traders and office staff with a focus on user satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond to system events, enhancing monitoring infrastructure as needed.
• Document projects and procedures; improve existing documentation.
• Collaborate with network, trading, and operations teams.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or IT with expected graduation in 2025/2026.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (operating systems, networking, programming).
• Experience with Linux distributions (e.g., Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in Bash and Python.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with virtualization and containers (e.g., VMware, Docker).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and evenings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• On‑site presence is required (no remote work).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Salt Stack).
• Basic SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database experience.
• Experience with bare‑metal server provisioning tools (e.g., Foreman).
