If you are interested in being considered for inclusion on this team, we invite you to apply.As an Integration & Test Engineer at Northrop Grumman, you will conduct integration testing and evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware/software design through aircraft installation to ensure that the systems we make work – and work well.Responsibilities for an Integration & Test Engineer may include generation of test plans, test procedures, test automation, test reports, and execution of integration test activities (system integration, design verification tests, qualification tests, etc.) in system integration labs (SILs) or offsite locations. As a part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team, an Integration & Test Engineer gains an understanding of the systems engineering process across a product's lifecycle and gains a full appreciation for how the systems operate.This position will be full-time, on-site at our Rolling Meadows, IL location.This position is contingent upon funding/contract award, special access program, and acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers' requirements prior to start.Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer - Integration & Test:BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree with 2+ years of related experience or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fieldExperience in documenting, testing, and troubleshooting integrated hardware/software/firmware for production systems.Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines under cost and schedule constraintsExperience in creating and delivering technical presentationsCandidate must be a US CitizenClearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer specified clearance as necessaryPreferred Qualifications:Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluationExperience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification TestingWorking knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs)Working knowledge of one or more of the following specialty areas: EOIR systems, sensors, optics, RFEW systems, DSP, antenna design, computational electromagnetics, RF test equipmentExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (Cameo)Has demonstrated experience applying basic systems‑engineering principles to develop and execute integration‑test plansKnowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languagesExperience writing and executing test scriptsAbility and willingness to work independently with little oversight or directionAbility and willingness to travelActive Secret or Top Secret clearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
