Job summary

The Systems Engineer at Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. supports the Naval Tactical Grid (NTG) for NIWC, integrating hardware and software, configuring and troubleshooting systems, and ensuring successful deployment across test cycles.

We seek a BS in a STEM field with hands-on experience in networking, Windows and Linux servers, and systems integration. An active clearance or ability to obtain one is highly desirable; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM required.
• Network+ or CCNA preferred; Linux+ preferred.
• CCNA is preferred; relevant networking certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing computer systems.
• Integrate multiple systems, hardware, and software components.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues (bugs) as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software, QA, and management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system designs and configurations.
• Support systems engineering life-cycle across requirements, design, integration, and maintenance.
