Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services seeks a seasoned System Engineer to lead or contribute to design, integration, and analysis of complex systems at the Nellis AFB site in NV. On-site work is required with authorized telework as applicable.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in the field, VMware vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight, and Linux Red Hat experience, plus Docker and Kubernetes. IAT Level II is required, with preferred Microsoft enterprise certifications.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in relevant field.
• Experience with VMWare vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight, VM Network Insight; Linux Red Hat, Docker, Kubernetes.
• IAT Level II certification required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform system engineering tasks including planning, analysis, design, modification, and implementation as task lead, functional lead, or individual contributor.
• Support project planning, scheduling, detailing phases and coordinating activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position $91,000 - $123,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Position Location: Nellis AFB, NV (On-Site) Telework/Work-from-Home Authorized: Yes - Only When Authorized About the Role: Perform system engineering tasks including activities such as system planning, analysis, design, modification, conversion, and implementation as task lead, functional lead, or individual contributor. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

• Perform highly advanced engineering activities in the design, integration and analysis of complex systems.
• Support planning, scheduling, conducting and/or coordinating detailed phases of projects.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
• Must have 10 years' experience in relevant field
• Must have experience with VMWare vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight, VM Network Insight; MS Enterprise Products (Server etc.) Linux Red Hat, Docker, Kubernetes
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• IAT Level II certification required
• Microsoft, Red Hat, VMWare certifications preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Security Clearance Requirements: Secret Clearance Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance US Citizenship Requirements: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
