Worker Type Regular Job Description AV is looking for a highly talented Systems Engineer III - MBSE to join our team! In this role, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineer (MDA/CEM) in transforming the way in which the Agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the Agency away from document-driven engineering. Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts. Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools. Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
• 7+ years of experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong Model-based engineering experience
• Ability to excel in a team setting
• Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

Desired:

• Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)
• MDA Experience
• Expertise in Command and Control (C2), data transport, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), or interoperability
