Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer II to specify, architect, and integrate complex space systems across the product lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams to derive, decompose, allocate, trace, and manage system requirements and architectures, while documenting concepts of operation.

You will support milestone reviews, participate in integration and verification, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-moving space program.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2+ years of related experience.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle.
• Knowledge of requirements management and allocation.
• Knowledge of systems architecture, integration, and V&V principles.
• Clear verbal and written communication of technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Specify, architect, and integrate complex system solutions across teams.
• Derive, decompose, allocate, trace, and manage system requirements and architectures.
• Define and document system concepts of operation.
• Support development milestone reviews with artifacts and deliverables.
• Participate in system integration and verification to ensure performance.
• Identify and manage technical risks and mitigation strategies.
