General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an Engineer II - Systems in Groton, CT, to lead cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives and major design projects for submarine programs. You will mentor staff, drive Lean/Six Sigma events, and coordinate data-driven analyses to reduce costs and improve performance.

The role requires strong project management skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under minimal supervision in a collaborative environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 2–5 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• 2+ years of EB experience working within Design and Engineering is preferred.
• At least 2 years of project management experience is preferred.
• Green Belt and Black Belt training and/or certification is preferred.
• Past experience with Lean, Kaizen, or Toyota Production Systems is highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of NX/Teamcenter functionality is preferred.
• Candidates should be familiar with submarine arrangements and ship systems.
• Hands-on experience interacting with and analyzing data from enterprise business systems.
