Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an Experienced Systems Engineer II/III to support development of complex military systems. You will work with an integrated engineering team on system modeling, requirements decomposition, and risk management to ensure traceability and robust design.

The role emphasizes lifecycle coverage from development through fielding, with opportunities to apply SysML MBSE and DOORS for requirements management and verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Experience with SysML MBSE and DOORS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis for the system.
• Conduct system modeling and trade analyses for design options and costs.
• Develop system requirement specifications and verification plans.
• Generate system architecture to satisfy customer, reliability, and safety needs.
• Coordinate engineering lifecycle from development to manufacturing and fielding.
