Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) activities, including Integrated Logistics Support, sustainment analysis, and provisioning. You will develop technical data, training artifacts, spares models, and coordinate cross‑functional sustainment activities to ensure program documentation meets requirements.

This role requires the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and is based on-site in Tucson.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with engineering logistics and/or management of engineering systems.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform sustainment and industrial engineering analyses to evaluate, re‑engineer, and optimize logistics and life‑cycle support processes.
• Develop and implement action plans that address key engineering, readiness, and sustainment performance drivers.
• Conduct technology assessments and contribute to maturation of emerging capabilities aligned to LCE mission objectives.
• Execute supportability engineering tasks, including LSA, development of technical data, creation of training artifacts, spares modeling, and technical presentations.
• Manage sustainment data, metrics, and trend analyses to support engineering decisions and leadership insight.
• Coordinate cross‑functional sustainment engineering activities, schedules, documentation workflows, and material accountability.
• Ensure accurate preparation, tracking, and delivery of sustainment and program documentation in accordance with program requirements.
• Support customer planning, test activities, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration to ensure alignment with sustainment and lifecycle engineering objectives.
