Job summary

RTX’s Life Cycle Engineering group in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support all aspects of system sustainment across multiple programs. The role emphasizes Integrated Logistics Support, sustainment analysis, and provisioning, with responsibilities for technical documentation, spares modeling, training materials, reliability analysis, and safety reviews.

Qualified candidates will have a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, and must be able to obtain Interim

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with engineering logistics or management of engineering systems.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance (U.S. government) prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform sustainment and industrial engineering analyses to evaluate, re‑engineer, and optimize logistics and life‑cycle support processes.
• Develop and implement action plans addressing engineering, readiness, and sustainment performance drivers.
• Conduct technology assessments and contribute to maturation of emerging capabilities aligned to LCE objectives.
• Execute supportability engineering tasks, including LSA, technical data, training artifacts, spares modeling, and presentations.
• Manage sustainment data, metrics, and trend analyses to support decisions and leadership insights.
• Coordinate cross‑functional sustainment activities, schedules, documentation workflows, and material accountability.
• Prepare, track, and deliver sustainment and program documentation per requirements.
• Support customer planning, tests, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration for lifecycle engineering objectives.
