Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a cross-functional team responsible for requirements, interfaces, and verification across optical and electrical systems. You will support testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure mission-critical performance.

Qualified candidates will have a STEM degree with 2+ years of systems engineering experience, ability to obtain DoD clearance (U.S. citizenship required), and hands-on work with system software/hardware.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 2+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with system software, hardware, requirements, and testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Work within a cross-functional team and interface with customers and program leadership.
• Create and decompose requirements, define system interfaces, and determine verification and validation methods.
• Support system performance analysis, integration, and test activities.
• Conduct testing of optical and electrical components and integrated systems; collect and analyze performance data.
• Identify and resolve issues uncovered during testing; support design improvements and troubleshooting.
• Execute integration, verification, and validation testing and generate comprehensive test reports.
• Provide engineering support for test process development, baseline definition, and test architecture design.
