Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer for 100% on-site work at the Tucson, AZ campus. The role focuses on applying systems engineering throughout the lifecycle, from requirements to verification, with opportunities to travel up to 25% to RTX facilities, test sites, or customer locations.

The candidate will collaborate across disciplines to ensure hardware and software are integrated and tested to meet Warfighter needs, delivering clear documentation and communicating results to leadership.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience with systems requirements, systems integration, and testing.
• Security clearance required: DoD Secret, active and transferable.

Responsibilities

• Update, develop, maintain, and improve requirements and CONOPS; define system interfaces.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration and verification documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems.
• Create/modify documentation for reviews such as TRR, CTS, and TDR packages.
• Perform platform integration, flight tests, qualification, and design verification.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
• Document and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
