Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer for an on-site role at our Tucson, AZ campus. You will engage in the Systems Engineering lifecycle, updating requirements, performing integration and testing, and communicating results to leadership and customers.

Occasional travel up to 25% may be required to support missions. The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines to ensure hardware and software work together seamlessly and meet CONOPS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
• Experience with systems requirements, systems integration, systems test, systems software, and/or systems hardware.

Responsibilities

• Update, develop, maintain, and improve requirements, CONOPS, and define system interfaces.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and verification documentation in simulated and real-world environments.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems.
• Create/modify documentation for reviews such as TRR, CTS, and TDR packages.
• Perform platform integration, flight test, qualification, and design verification execution.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
• Document and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct data analysis to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
• Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
• Drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Conduct trade studies and present results to stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% to support mission execution.
