Job summary

VSolvit is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support NSWC Corona Division in Norco, CA. You will analyze RM&A data, build reliability models, and assess performance to improve Navy system readiness.

This role requires on-site work and a DoD clearance, with collaboration across Navy stakeholders and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in engineering, 3–6 years in systems or reliability engineering, and strong data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of systems engineering or reliability engineering experience.
  • Experience analyzing engineering data and technical systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with engineering databases and technical documentation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work on-site in Norco, California.

Job Summary

VSolvit is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division in Norco, California. The Systems Engineer will analyze complex Navy systems using Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) methodologies to evaluate operational readiness and support engineering decision making.

The successful candidate will work independently to develop reliability models, assess system performance, integrate engineering data from multiple sources, and provide recommendations that improve system readiness across Navy platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) principles.

  • Knowledge of Navy ship classes, combat systems, and shipboard equipment.
  • Experience supporting DoD Test & Evaluation or systems engineering programs.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Cameo, or SysML.
  • Familiarity with Navy maintenance and logistics systems.
