Job Description

Our company has a successful track record and aims to build long-term customer relationships. We emphasize customer satisfaction and strive to be trusted advisors. Our team includes Sales, Project Management, Systems Engineering, and Technologist personnel working in a high-performance culture, often under demanding cycle times and high customer expectations.

Many systems are based on the APCO Project 25 standard, with interfaces to other critical sub-systems. As data services grow, our customers' networks are being enhanced with LTE connectivity, supporting applications like live mobile video, alongside traditional voice and narrow-band data networks.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Lead customer presentations
  2. System staging
  3. Complete system documentation
  4. Perform live system upgrades
  5. Ensure the integrity of architecture and design

Individuals will carry out field engineering duties during radio system upgrades, including deploying network gear, Windows devices, virtual machines, and Motorola proprietary devices. They will be customer-facing technical resources, primarily traveling within Northeastern US states.

Specific Knowledge/Skills
  • Experience with radio communication systems, RF, wireless, or LTE is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of IP networking, design, and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS) is highly desirable
  • Certifications such as Network+, JNCIA-Junos, NRS1, CCNA are highly desirable
  • Experience with Juniper, Aviat, Cisco, Nokia/Alcatel, Xtreme, Ceragon is desirable
  • Experience working directly with end-user customers is essential
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex topics to non-technical audiences are essential

Up to 50% travel is required for upgrade projects.

Additional Information

Target base salary range: $72,700 - $145,400 USD. Salary depends on experience and skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a background clearance
