Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Systems Engineer II to contribute to ISR and aviation systems within the IAS group. The role involves requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE in a hybrid work environment with potential travel.

A Secret clearance is required. The successful candidate will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, perform risk assessment, and support lifecycle activities from design to testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Systems Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of requirements management and MBSE practices.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform intermediate tasks in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
  • Conduct system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management with minimal supervision.
