Technology Service Corporation Defense Services is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer I to support development, testing, and assessment of Navy sensors in Silver Spring, MD. Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a GPA of 3.3 or higher. Responsibilities include simulation, model development, and customer interaction. Qualifications
Minimum GPA of 3.3.
Willingness to work on a blend of technical and operational tasks.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
Simulation set-up and execution, data analysis, and results presentation.
Model development, enhancements, and error correction.
Regular interaction with US Government customers for technical and operational tasks.
Documentation and presentation to mixed audiences.
Execution of assigned tasks individually and as a team.
Skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Interest in Navy's AEGIS Combat System
Signal processing and/or track filtering experience
Skill in C++ or Java
Comfort with Windows and Linux environments
Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering
