Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer I to join our Space and Air, Electronic Warfare & Signal Processing team. You will help shape and design advanced communication solutions that support military missions worldwide, working onsite at Goleta.

Responsibilities include lifecycle activities from requirements to verification, architecture, and integration. Travel up to 10% and security clearance eligibility are required; DoD Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation, and transition to production.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful execution of key program milestones.
• Provide systems engineering support for bids and proposals, contributing to technical strategy and solution development.
• Perform daily tasks in a classified and controlled lab environment.
• Travel up to 10%.
