Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, administration, optimization, and security of server, virtualization, and cloud environments. This role ensures system stability, performance, and scalability while supporting both project‑based implementations and ongoing operational needs.

Systems Administration & Infrastructure

• Manage Windows and Linux server environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Maintain virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper‑V.

Cloud & Hybrid Environments

• Support Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Assist with cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure deployments.
• Implement identity, access, and security configurations.

Operations & Optimization

• Monitor system performance, reliability, and patching.
• Troubleshoot escalated system and server issues.
• Improve automation, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Maintain system documentation and configuration standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of systems engineering or administration experience
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization knowledge
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and backup solutions
