Northrop Grumman in Dulles, VA is seeking a Systems Engineer to support fault management and system autonomy within Space Systems. The role is an individual contributor on a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on requirements synthesis, verification planning, and interface definitions for mission-critical spacecraft systems. Must have a B.S.

or M.S. in a technical field, U.S. Government Top Secret clearance, and experience in aerospace or mission operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical bachelor's or master's degree.
• Top Secret clearance active and within scope at start.
• Experience in systems engineering for mission critical applications.
• Experience with spacecraft or mission operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform traditional systems engineering functions including requirements synthesis and flow-down.
• Design, implement, and validate fault management and system autonomy software.
• Coordinate design efforts and manage technical budgets and interfaces.
• Support integration, testing, and operational readiness of spacecraft.
• Prepare performance reviews, analyses, and reports.
