Job summary

Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) in Huntsville, AL seeks a Mid Level Systems Engineer to translate operational needs into technical requirements and practical hardware/software solutions.

You will join a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced AGIIL lab supporting Army DEVCOM aviation and mission systems. You will assist with system concepts, interfaces, and verification activities, collaborating with software and hardware engineers to deliver integrated, testable solutions while prioritizing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3-10 years of Systems Engineering, systems integration, or related experience.
• Experience with hardware/software system development, integration, and testing.
• DoD/Army program experience and DoD security clearance is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and translate them into technical requirements and engineering solutions.
• Support rapid prototyping, software development, system integration, testing, demonstrations, and evaluations.
• Develop system concepts, architectures, interfaces, data flows, mockups and other engineering artifacts.
• Coordinate with software and other engineering disciplines to refine system behavior and interfaces.
• Work with software, hardware, network, test, and integration engineers to improve integrated solutions.
• Perform technical assessments, trade studies, and gap analyses; document findings and risks for customers.
• Review test plans, procedures, and verification activities.
• Independently manage assigned technical tasks and coordinate with Government customers, internal teams, vendors, and external organizations.
• Other duties as assigned.
