Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking Systems Engineer Co-ops to join an experienced project team. You will assist with instrumentation, system design, and onsite startup tasks across engineering disciplines.

As a full-time student in a technical field, you will contribute to P&ID instrument lists, design reviews, and commissioning activities while developing documentation and practical skills. This role offers hands-on training, travel incentives for field assignments, and ongoing

Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a technical field related to Engineering or Systems.
Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.
GPA of 3.0 or above.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without RoviSys sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Create instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings.
Compile submittal and procurement documentation for controls and instrument hardware.
Provide technical support for panel fabrication technicians.
Inspect completed control enclosures.
Participate in customer design review meetings.
Assemble development system using project hardware and computers.
Configure user interface and HMI screens.
Configure DDC, PLC and/or DCS control algorithms.
Draft system documentation from templates.
Assist with customer demonstrations and acceptance testing.
Install project software and configuration onto site systems.
Perform onsite startup tasks and calibration.
