Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies seeks a Systems Engineer Co-op to work with an experienced project team on instrumentation, system design, and onsite startup tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with design reviews, development systems, and configuring control algorithms under supervision.

The role targets full-time student status, a 3.0+ GPA, and enrollment in an engineering or systems bachelor’s program, with US work authorization. Competitive hourly pay and travel perks offered.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Engineering or Systems.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings.
• Compile submittal and procurement documentation for controls and instrument hardware.
• Provide technical support for panel fabrication technicians.
• Inspect completed control enclosures.
• Participate in customer design review meetings.
• Assemble development system using project hardware and computers.
• Configure user interface and HMI screens; configure DDC/PLC/DCS control algorithms.
• Draft system documentation from templates; assist with commissioning tests and documentation updates.
