Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer Co-op in Austin, TX. The role will be assigned to an experienced project team with responsibilities defined by the lead engineer based on project needs and capabilities.

You will participate in instrumentation design, system configuration, and onsite startup tasks, gaining hands-on experience across a typical project lifecycle. This paid co-op includes training, travel incentives, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a technical field (Engineering or Systems).
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without RoviSys sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumentation & electrical design tasks: create instrument lists, prepare submittals, support panel fabrication, inspect enclosures.
• Contribute to system design and configuration: participate in design reviews, assemble development systems, configure HMI screens, draft system docs.
• Support onsite system startup: install software, perform tests, troubleshoot, calibrate instrumentation, assist with commissioning and training materials.

Education

Bachelor's student in Engineering or Systems

GPA 3.0 or above
