Vaxcyte in San Carlos, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain the systems and infrastructure that support our clinical-stage biotech organization. You will administer cloud servers, SaaS apps, networks, and security measures, while collaborating with senior engineers on enterprise projects in a cloud-first environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT experience, a BS in CS, and hands-on work with Okta, M365, Intune, Proofpoint, Zoom, Meraki, vSphere and Proxmox.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of IT / systems engineering experience; biotech experience is a plus.
• Experience administering cloud servers, workstations, networks, and security administration.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python) and automation of manual workstreams.
• Exposure to enterprise AI tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain cloud servers, workstations, lab infrastructure and networks.
• Administer core SaaS and infrastructure technologies (Okta, M365, Microsoft Intune, Proofpoint, Zoom, Meraki; virtualization with vSphere and Proxmox).
• Implement and troubleshoot security measures to protect data.
• Provide Tier 2/3 IT support and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Document IT procedures, configurations, and policies.
