Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the PMW 790 Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office with AutoCAD-based drawings and NAVWAR compliance.

The role requires an active secret clearance, five years of systems engineering/AutoCAD experience, and strong collaboration with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Charleston, SC, with travel ~10% and opportunities for 401(k) and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance required.
• HS Diploma required.
• Five years of experience providing systems engineering and/or AutoCAD support.
• AutoCAD knowledge and familiarity with drafting methods.
• Experience creating AutoCAD drawings (network diagrams, floor plans, elevations, etc).
• Experience updating AutoCAD drawings to current state (red lines). NAVWAR background in shore installation upgrades.
• Familiarity with NAVWAR SPIDER.
• Familiarity with Shore Installation Process Handbook and NAVWAR IRD Standard.
• Familiarity with networking diagrams and components.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop installation requirements drawings (IRD), installation design plans (IDP), and As-Built drawings with AutoCAD support.
• Review IRDs, IDPs, and As-Built drawings for compliance with SIPH and IRD standards and proper installation guidance.
• Conduct surveys of Navy shore platforms to support drawing development.
• Assess shore installation issues related to IRDs/IDPs/As-Built drawings and SIPH compliance.
• Manage data calls: research, gather, sort, and present information.
• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts and Project Engineers; report to Task Leads.
• Provide feedback to standards, templates and SOPs; assist with bid/proposal work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
