Veeam Software in Belgium is seeking a Systems Engineer to evangelize our data and AI offerings to partners and end-users. You will travel regionally, deliver demos, and drive the technical evaluation during the sales cycle.

The role requires deep VMware and Hyper-V expertise, strong communication, and the ability to engage with resellers, customers, and development teams. A proactive, self-starting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment will excel.

About The Role

At Veeam, Systems Engineers work closely with sales and help to evangelize our product offerings to our partners, resellers and end-users. Grow along with Veeam while gaining valuable experience in the hottest area within IT today. This position require significant travel within the region of responsibility.

What You’ll Do

• Position Veeam products to both partners and end-users to help to overachieve sales goals
• Manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as a main technical advisor for Veeam solution
• Provide web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam software
• Work closely with Veeam’s value-added resellers, including enablement, joint meetings and building relationships
• Work closely with development to provide customer feedback

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience working in a pre-sales role to enterprise level for an IT Software vendor
• Deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure
• Experience on Microsoft Hyper‑V and Systems Centre
• Wide range of technical knowledge of data management inclusive tape drives, storage arrays, storage networking, networking protocols
• Willingness to engage discussion about Cloud technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English, French and Dutch
• Being comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and in person
• Availability to spend 25% - 50% of the time with customers and partners
• Self-starter approach with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
• Being comfortable in using social media to help promote and grow the Veeam community
