Position Overview

Join the Mission Systems Precision Landing and Athena Control Systems Team and help shape, define, and design communication solutions that connect militaries around the world! As a Systems Engineer Associate, you will design and develop military software-defined radio products covering all spectrum bands. You will play an integral role in developing the next generation of both networking and non-networking software defined radio waveforms for existing and new communication platforms. You will interface with multi-discipline engineering teams to create total system solutions, addressing both domestic and international customer needs.

What You Will Do

• Perform analysis, architecture and design at all levels of the total system product and disposal
• Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience with tools such as MATLAB and Python
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification/validation, and transition to production
• Experience with communicating between program stakeholders
• Experience with tools such as DOORS and C++
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering

ONSITE

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
