Founded in 2002, Chinook Systems, Inc. is an inter-disciplinary commissioning, cybersecurity, engineering, design/build and maintenance and services firm committed to delivering lifecycle facility solutions. With a focus on mission critical infrastructure, we perform on both new construction and existing building projects. Chinook has strong technology capabilities including 2D design and 3D modeling, construction management, and computerized maintenance management (CMMS). We have cybersecure proprietary commissioning technology, Quicx that holds an Authority to Operate (ATO).
The Work:
As a Systems Engineer / Architect, you will perform cloud and on-prem computing design, configuration, STIG implementation, troubleshooting and testing. You will utilize your extensive experience in cloud architecture, cloud services, and your ability to lead technical projects to deliver robust computing solutions. In this role you will be involved in developing and executing the strategy for cloud adoption (as well as on-prem servers) and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our environments. You will become part of a multi-disciplinary team that advises, implements, and manages cybersecurity for control system solutions such as SCADA, HVAC, Fire Alarm/Life Safety Systems, and Electronic Security Systems. You will work alongside federal clients to help develop and implement risk management and Zero Trust programs for their critical infrastructure.
This position is REMOTE, but you must be able to travel to client sites up to 50% of the time. Due to the location of the majority of our clients, candidates in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States are preferred, especially candidates in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
