Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented System Engineer – Data Integration.

What You Will Be Doing

As a System Engineer within the Data Integration team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise mobility database solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, recommend strategic improvements, and implement innovative technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing guidance to junior team members. This 6-month contract position offers opportunities to lead large initiatives and contribute to scalable, secure, and reliable database environments aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify database platform elements in support of enterprise mobility initiatives.
• Analyze system requirements and research new capabilities to guide technology strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Partner with developers and architects to identify process improvements and architectural enhancements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, security, and compliance issues.
• Create and validate JSON payloads for APIs and system integrations.
• Support networking and firewall configurations to ensure system security and integrity.
• Contribute to end-to-end testing activities during the full lifecycle of projects.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve standardization and platform architecture.

Required Skills & Experience

• Working knowledge of JSON for creating, parsing, and troubleshooting payloads.
• Hands‑on experience with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems, including log analysis.
• Knowledge of networking and firewall configurations.
• Experience working with secure, highly confidential databases.
• Proven ability to perform full lifecycle development and testing.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must reside in the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).
• Ability to work during U.S. Central Standard Time core hours.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience with multiple RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with data integration tools and platforms, including data lakes or data warehouses.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of database encryption and IT security compliance standards like PCI.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies and project management practices.

Pay:

$49.00 – $70.00 /hr
