Join the Threat Analysis and Simulation Development (TASD) team where you'll develop systems engineering solutions, technical documentation, and simulation environments that enable accurate representation of current and future threat scenarios supporting national defense missions.

A Day in the Life - What you'll do
  • Lead requirements derivation and capability analysis activities that translate mission needs into technical solutions supporting advanced modeling and simulation environments.

  • Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models that support system architecture, requirements traceability, verification, and software development activities.

  • Research missile defense architectures, space-based sensing technologies, threat trajectories, and emerging operational capabilities to support system development and engineering analysis.

  • Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and modeling & simulation teams to ensure engineering solutions align with program objectives and customer requirements.

  • Develop and refine systems engineering processes, workflows, and technical procedures that improve engineering efficiency and program execution.

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, engineering artifacts, interface documentation, and user guides supporting simulation capabilities.

  • Analyze engineering and simulation data to validate system behavior, identify trends, and support data-driven technical decisions.

  • Develop scripts and automation tools using Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar technologies to improve engineering analysis and workflow efficiency.

  • Present technical briefings to government customers, program leadership, and engineering teams regarding system capabilities, engineering progress, and technical recommendations.

  • Support user training, simulation tool orientation, and customer adoption activities while providing technical guidance to program stakeholders.

  • Work independently while contributing to multidisciplinary Agile engineering teams supporting complex missile defense modeling and simulation initiatives.

  • Support occasional travel (up to 10%) to participate in customer engagements, technical reviews, and program activities.
