Nightwing is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to support mission critical needs in a hybrid environment in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will serve as a scrum master within an agile software development lifecycle and contribute to system engineering documentation across SPs, ICDs, and requirements specs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and extensive SE experience, with active U.S. government TS/SCI clearance.

We solve complex and critical problems in partnership with mission customers. Serves as a scrum master in an agile environment following the software development product lifecycle. This position requires traditional SE processes such as contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents. Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s). Support developers in translating technical work into diagrams or other documentation needed. Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components. Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination. Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations. Participate in the development of system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.## ## **Role Type**## This position is a partially position## ## Basic Qualifications:## Typically requires bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and Fourteen 14 years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity. Five 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Technologies/skills: Understanding of agile processes, Java, confluence, Jira, SE models, AWS, requirements, architecture designs, clear and concise communications, collaborative working style with internal and external stakeholders. Active and transferable U.S. government issued T**S/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required** prior to start date.
