Job summary

XMSTART Inc. is seeking experienced full-time Systems Engineers for on-site roles in Chantilly, VA or Washington, DC.

You will design, develop, integrate, and sustain complex systems for the IC community, with emphasis on reliability and security. Ideal candidates hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and hands-on experience across SDLC, system integration, and multi-domain networks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Familiarity with system development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with systems integration and configuration
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and scripting
• Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and network protocols

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and system requirements
• Develop system architectures and specifications
• Integrate hardware and software components to create functional systems
• Install, configure, and test system components
• Develop and maintain documentation, such as technical specifications and user manuals
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement updates, patches, and upgrades as needed
• Optimize system processes to improve efficiency and reliability
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and project managers
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Provide training and support to end-users
• Ensure systems comply with industry standards and organizational policies
• Implement security measures to protect system integrity and data
