Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a full-time systems engineer to support a fast-paced Navy program focusing on radar development and integration. You will lead technical reviews and prepare acquisition documentation, ensuring milestones are met while coordinating resources and requirements.

The role requires 15+ years in DoD systems engineering, and a DoD Secret clearance. A Master’s degree and experience with EM spectrum are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM.
• 15+ years of DoD systems engineering experience.
• Proven experience with Navy surface radar, Electronic Warfare, and/or combat systems design and certification processes.
• DoD Secret clearance and ability to maintain it during employment.
• Master's degree (preferred).
• Experience as Electronics Technician or with Electromagnetic Spectrum (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support a fast-paced Navy program within the Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Mission Systems.
• Lead technical reviews and produce required acquisition documentation; meet milestones.
• Manage program needs and external requirements, ensuring resources align with priorities.

Comprising more than 130 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise across program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life-cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. Responsibilities

We are seeking a full time systems engineer to support a fast-paced program within the Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Mission Systems.

Candidate will support a variety of tasks including: support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; meeting critical program milestone deadlines; managing program needs and external requirements, and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time.

Day To Day Role

You can expect to work on a variety of radar development and integration documents and tasks.

• Lead and act on behalf of the program's Working Group Leads ensuring the appropriate Systems Engineering processes and discipline is applied across the program.
• Support technical interchanges and working groups by providing technical expertise in the areas of radar and/or combat systems integration.
• Conduct technical studies and develop systems engineering documentation as directed by program leadership.

A hybrid work environment is acceptable, however candidate must have the ability to work primarily from 20 M St SE DC.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
