MS Exchange Engineer | Senior-Level | Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Required

Are you a seasoned Microsoft Exchange Engineer ready to take on a high-impact role supporting mission-critical communications infrastructure? We are looking for a technically sharp, self-driven professional who thrives in complex hybrid environments and is passionate about delivering enterprise-grade messaging solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior MS Exchange Engineer, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the architecture, administration, and optimization of our Microsoft Exchange environment. You'll play a key role in driving our cloud migration strategy, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft 365 (M365), and maintaining the highest standards of performance, availability, and security.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (CI Poly) required
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience: 11+ years of hands-on MS Exchange engineering experience

Required Technical Skills:

• Active Directory: Deep expertise in AD architecture, design, disaster recovery planning, and advanced troubleshooting
• Exchange Administration: Proven experience managing hybrid environments with both on-premises Exchange Servers and M365, including leading on-prem to cloud migration initiatives
• Database Availability Groups (DAGs): Demonstrated ability to implement, manage, and troubleshoot DAGs in enterprise environments
• Performance Troubleshooting: Strong track record diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues across MS Exchange and Windows Server platforms
• Customer-Facing Communication: Ability to set clear expectations, develop actionable remediation plans, and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Independent Execution: Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal supervision in fast-paced, high-stakes environments

NICE TO HAVE

Preferred Qualifications:

• SecDevOps: Familiarity with iterative development practices and Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) principles
• Communication Technologies: Broad experience with enterprise communication technologies and solution architectures
• ServiceNow: Hands-on experience managing tickets and workflows within ServiceNow
• A&A / SSP Documentation: Working knowledge of Authentication & Authorization (A&A) and Service Support Processes (SSP), including documentation requirements
• Tier 3/4 Support: Experience providing advanced technical support at the Tier 3 and Tier 4 levels
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development frameworks and sprint-based delivery
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell automation; exposure to modern languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, or Perl is a plus
• Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft administration, engineering, or Azure certifications strongly preferred
