Job Description

In this role, you will need a strong understanding of Linux system administration, database technologies, Windows servers and workstations, Networking, TCP/IP, WAN analysis, etc. You will also gain knowledge of clinical imaging workflows and use those skills to support clients through project engagements in which these solutions will be implemented, upgraded, and maintained. You will consult with clients on technical architecture decisions, support clients during the implementation of said architecture, perform complex troubleshooting, and escalate issues as appropriate.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

1. Consult with clients on service line workflow, guiding them through interdependencies and design decision impacts.
2. Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders.
3. Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations.
4. Mitigate solution risks and issues.
5. Execute workflow and process improvement strategies.
6. Lead client meetings and events.
7. Drive internal team initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of combined higher education and related work experience.
• At least 1 year of system administration and/or engineering work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to client contract requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux or other Unix-based OS.
• Experience with Oracle and/or Postgres databases.
• Experience with DICOM, HL7, PACS/VNA.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience leading meetings or engagements.

Expectations

• Willingness to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
• Willing to travel up to 80%.
• Position can be Kansas City based or remote.
• Adherence to security policies and procedures.

Additional Information

Role salary ranges from $25.48 to $60.63 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. The position is open for applications for at least three days from posting or until filled.
