Compensation: $75K–$140K based on experience and performance

This is an in-office, hands‑on engineering role. You will be in our office and at client sites, not working remotely.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Professional Services is one of TotalCareIT's five service pillars. The team that delivers the design, implementation, and project work that takes our clients beyond day‑to‑day support. As a Systems Engineer, you will own the design, security, and reliability of the IT systems and infrastructure that keep our clients running, leading a wide variety of projects spanning networking and cybersecurity. You will be the person clients trust to get it right, on time and on budget. We are looking for an engineer who takes pride in clean configurations, thorough documentation, and a security‑first mindset. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, secure, and support client network systems and infrastructure
• Maintain, implement, and troubleshoot networks end to end
• Configure, secure, and operate routers, switches, and firewalls
• Configure and maintain cloud‑based services (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and more)
• Deliver projects on time and within scope, with extensive, accurate documentation for every system you touch
• Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis
• Over‑communicate with clients and the project team to keep everyone aligned through closed‑loop communication
• Work both in our office and on‑site at client locations

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3–10 years of network administration experience in a Windows environment (Linux a plus)
• Solid knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals
• Industry certifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (desirable)
• Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong documentation, compliance, and security habits (these are absolute requirements)
