The role requires 3–5 years in SDR or related wireless fields, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, and strong communication skills. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain clearance are mandatory. On-site in Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience with software‑defined radios, waveform development, or wireless communications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle.
Experience with integration, testing, or evaluation of complex systems.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of the radio capability roadmap.
Manage system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team! As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and management for Software Defined Radio (SDR) development of a Department of War (DoW) Acquisition Category (ACAT) III Program of Record. You will support technical planning, product evolution, feature prioritization, systems integration, and requirements verification. You will work with engineering teams, government stakeholders, and program leadership to manage technical requirements, support feature development, and evaluate system performance.
