Responsibilities

• Analyze, understand, and document the architecture of existing IT solutions
• Participate in business capabilities and systems' requirements analysis
• Translate business requirements into IT solutions while considering constraints of existing systems and architectures
• Design content management and workflow solutions
• Design and manage servers, operating systems, middleware, and data storage and manipulation platforms
• Perform custom software systems design and development in collaboration with senior team members
• Research, assess, and adopt emerging and new technologies and paradigms
• Assist the Security Compliance team with implementation and maintenance of an Information and Information Systems Security Program
• Collaborate with the Systems Administration team to deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements
• Perform audit activities to report on compliance and security configurations
• Conduct penetration testing to discover vulnerabilities before exploitation

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience OR 0 to 4 years of relevant professional experience combined with a technical degree specifically in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated ability to perform full life cycle software engineering using one or more modern platforms and languages (MS .NET/C#, JEE/Java, C++, etc)
• Firm technical understanding of networking protocols and IT systems security principles
• Strong desire and demonstrated potential for further development of skills and expertise in Software Systems Engineering and Development, Systems Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, IT Systems Security
• Ability to quickly understand stakeholder needs and articulate technical concepts and solutions
• Experience using standardized modelling languages and notations, such as UML, ArchiMate, and BPMN
• Excellent communications, teamwork, and conflict management skills
