Element Care is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage and support a mid‑large Windows Server environment in a hybrid work setting. The role focuses on stability, security, and scalable infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud platforms.

You will monitor systems with LogicMonitor, apply security best practices, and lead or assist with server migrations and modernization projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years managing mid-large Windows Server environments.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, SQL, and VMware virtualization.
  • Knowledge of Windows security hardening, patching, and upgrades.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Covid vaccinated preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to urgent and escalated support cases, including after‑hours and weekend incidents—to maintain uninterrupted operations in mission‑critical environments.
  • Participate in infrastructure planning, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives to enhance system reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support production systems, resolve complex issues.
  • Implement security best practices, including antivirus solutions, encryption, and secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Assist with or lead technical projects, such as server migrations, new software implementations, or cloud integration.
  • Optimizes system performance through regular maintenance, updates, and improvements.
  • Performs other duties as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Salary range:

120k to 135k
