Job summary

OPS Consulting, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineering professional to support high‑level technology programs for government and commercial customers. You will analyze quantum-inspired devices, assist in system design, and collaborate with customer teams to drive complex development efforts.

The role requires extensive experience in systems engineering, documentation, and test planning, with a current government clearance and a strong background in SIGINT systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 3 years’ experience with an Intelligence Community or HPC Development Program.
• 15 years’ experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide analysis and technical advice to customer teams.
• Coordinate with customer engineers to facilitate complex technology development.
• Prepare and review technical plans, reviews, and test results.
• Assist in system architecture, requirements analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

As Systems Engineering support at OPS Consulting, you will utilize your expertise in the science of condensed matter or solid-state physics, heterostructure quantum devices and cryogenics, and modeling & simulation of quantum inspired devices to provide analysis and technical advice/assistance to the customer. You will work closely with customer engineer and technical teams to facilitate complex technology development. Responsibilities may include:

• Simulating small scale electrical systems
• Simulating medium-scale behavioral systems
• Evaluating EM noise characteristics
• Reviewing experiment and test plan proposals
• Analyzing and interpreting quantum system test results

Basic Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience with an Intelligence Community or HPC Development Program.
• Fifteen (15) years’ experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customer
• Ten (I0) years’ experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include expertise in systems architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation and process execution and evaluation.
• Knowledge of SIGINT mission systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Required Skills

• Experience developing technical plans for complex capability development
• Demonstrated expertise in test plans, procedures, and test result analysis
• Experience writing, reviewing, and presenting technical documentation at the program level
• Experience with system design and requirements management
• Experience overseeing technical reviews

Desired Skills

• Master’s or PhD in Quantum Physics, Engineering, or quantum technology related discipline.
• Experience in one or more areas of quantum technology.
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Security Clearance:

A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 – $290,004.00
